Dressing for Fall
If you wake up to sunshine and 72-degree weather each and every morning (we're examining you, SoCal), any grievances you have got about our mother earth tend to be officially null. However, there is certainly one pain point we're kinda, sorta sympathetic to: anticlimactic seasonal changes. As the remaining portion of the country cozies up in turtlenecks and pipe socks, Angelenos can cruise through the year in crop tops and denim minis, give and take a few light levels. Thinking about the joys that include autumn โ sweater weather condition, tall boots, hot caffeinated drinks โ we feel for you personally. But just because your seasonal shifts do not require a wardrobe renovation doesn't mean you cannot go into some new autumn arrivals.
To start, we enlisted L.A. regional and fashion writer Sazan Hendrix to make some clothes that feel like autumn but completely work with warmer climates. With brand new types from Old Navy in her own toolbox (believe cocoon-like outerwear and woven textures in earthy colors), Sazan shows how-to use effortless layering pieces that'll destroy cold-weather fashion FOMO โ at least through to the inevitable first-snow-of-the-season 'grams.
