Beautiful Beach Dresses

When it comes to beachwear I’m definitely a dress girl instead of shorts or skirts. A dress is super comfortable and you always look stylish and feminine. Not that I never rock the tomboy look or don’t wear sneakers, but on the beach I’m all for easy, effortless and eye-cathing.

I choose my dress according to the location. For example, if I go to a beautiful beach in Thailand I would wear a long maxi dress in a solid color. But when I’m on Ibiza I rather go for a short dress with striking print and matching accessories. There’s only one sort of unwritten rule when it comes to beach dresses: don’t match your dress completely with your bikini or swimsuit. That’s a bit too obvious and it’s more fun to mix and match. Choose one color from your bikini and match your dress with it. Or if you wear a solid bikini choose a colour from the same palette and let that color come back into the dress.

When I’m looking for a new beach dress I always go to Asos, Free People or to the site of the swimwear brand itself. And if my budget allows it I’ll browse through the beautiful beach dresses on . I have an endless wishlist on that site but when it comes to beach dresses I often buy a simple and easy style that I can wear on every day of my holiday if I want (trust me, that doesn’s happen don’t worry).
