It’s a rainy time in July, just what exactly better time for you begin contemplating chunky cable knits and shaggy winter months coats?

Because, although we love summer having its gladiator sandals and floaty dresses, there’s nothing can beat 1st wave of autumn clothes in the shops.

Possibly it's the nostalgic back-to-school experience of all the greys and maroons, or even it's simply the cashmere, but the beginning of autumn is our favourite amount of time in the fashion schedule.

Here’s the trends fashion’s best may be following next period.

It’s acceptable to do Eighties (once again)

The eighties never ever seemed so excellent. Believe lame, polka dots, power shoulders, velvet (specifically big after that period), and intense leather-based. But in a great way. As seen at Saint Laurent, Balmain and J.W. Anderson.

Soft as folk

The glam rock with this summertime’s 70s revival has gone smooth for autumn. It’s a little more enchanting this time round – more Joni Mitchell, less Marc Bolan. Soft velvet flares, long boho floaty clothes under waistcoats, and cosy patchwork had been big at Burberry, Pucci and Chloe.

Tomboys vs. princesses

While Victoria Beckham, Topshop Extraordinary and Margaret Howell gave united states Annie Hall-style understated tie-neck blouses, polo-necks, large pants and mannish coats, Miuccia Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Saint Laurent celebrated pretty and punk princesses with winter pastels, sparkly decoration, Mary-Janes, and pearls.

The Royal Tenenbaums were all over AW15. Lacoste owned the look (clearly) with playing tennis dresses, camel furs and striped clothes, but the quirky introvert also took centre phase at Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger and Miu Miu.

Brocades, velvets and wild images had been every where on AW15 catwalks. Erdem, Mary Katrantzou and Tory Burch were all in the mood for some redecorating.

One word: shearling. We’re all going to be walking shag-piles this September.

But, actually, anything goes, provided that it's fluffy and in-your-face. To relieve your self in, you could test a colourful faux-fur stole – as seen at Topshop Original and Roksanda – or a furry cuff.
